Title: modding cube soon. any pointers?
Post by: daywane on April 28, 2005, 05:08:09 pm
I just bought a game cube to mod.
viper chip and new cover. ( still need to build up funds )
after buying  a mem stick  ( for  PC 256 meg ) a 30 gig hard drive and 19" monitor this week off ebay I am taped.
around may 30Th I will send off for the game cube parts I need.

I have a sinking felling I am the first here to do this. (I have not seen any post about our friends here doing this)
I have modded a few PS1S , my soldering skills are fair.
( I do seem to go through the solder tips though  ::) )

off topic but you guys might want to watch ebay on 19" monitors.
they are going cheep lately. missed one last week for 1 stinking dollar  >:(
sold for $26.00 and $12.00 ship
just bought 1 for $40.00 and $10.00 ship.

I mean DAG GUM!! The one here in front of me cost $200.00 last year at Wal mart

That qoobchip looks interesting.  I'll have to keep my eye on that.  Thanks.
