Hello everyone,
YESS...didnt order my monitor.This time i wanna get my cabinet done in 25 and half inches(my door has problem).So i got 24" inside my cabinet and a neotec 25" monitor would do the trick but my question was.....
I found vga dotronix arcade monitor with scanline for $250 local.
its a 27" and mesure the actual metal casing and its 25"& half with tv like casing.
NOW....is it possible to mount sucka in my cabinet?
ANY clue anyone? ::)
I will end up saving half the money if i buy this monitor..please help...here is a picture for better explanation.

looks exactly like this one.
the dimention is 25 and half width with and my cabinet has 24" inside to mount a monitor.
I am just lost :-\...cant decide..

can you take down the door at the hinge ??... that should give you an inch or two...
if the thing is 25 1/2 and you only have 24 (inside cab)... how can it fit ??....
or.... you can get everything ready (painted and everything...) and just put it together inside the room it will be in....

That ain't gonna fit... ::)

YUP...already figured >:(..
I guess..$440 isnt that bad for neotec monitor...25" onces.

Make it a vertical monitor. ;D What size screen would that work out to for horizontal games?
You probably can't take it apart but if you could you would be able to tell if you can shave off an inch and a half. Though by looking at the picture the screen looks to close to the edge of the frame.
Can you modify your cab to make it modular enough to take it apart to get it in and out the door?

nope..cant modify because I wont be doin all the work agin..its just too much for me..rather just get a new 25" monitor..i will post back on the neo tec monitor since no one has one of these yet ::).
