So I'm perusing Summit Racing's online site, and I come across THIS:
http://store.summitracing.com/fuel fragrance (http://store.summitracing.com/default.asp?target=search.asp&type=bykeyword&searchtype=both&part=fuel+fragrance&x=11&y=9)
WHO is this meant to be for, and WHY was this invented? Oh, and in case you're wondering, they have several fragrances available. ::)

Now you can smell fresh pine when you fill up your tank :P
-
So you can smell the rat bastard that siphoned your gas after it hits $3.50/gallon!

I actually use that stuff...lmao...and its very cool. I smell like pina colada whenever I go to the car meet. Strawberry smells good too. :)

Gosh Drew, who wouldn't[/i] want their exhaust to smell like cotton candy?

They also make this stuff for the R/C nitro cars, elsewise it sorta smells like a really strong playdough when you got 20-30 of em running on a track.
-
Besides, when youre listening to your radio in your garage, with the door closed and car running. you don't have to deal with those "pesky smelling" fumes.
-
sooey-side via grape.....fragrance?
Who is the smell for? Can you notice it while driving your car, or is it for others? If you can notice it while driving, what's that saying about how much exhaust you're sucking in normally each day?
Will adding acetone to the fragrance dilute the fragrance? ;)

Have you heard about putting moth balls in your gasoline? They tested that "myth" on Mythbusters and found it to be plausible. They said that it seemed a bit rough at low revs, but when it revved up it was loud! (nothing like nitromethane though)
-
I wasted a racing lawn mower with moth balls.
blew a piston to ity bity pieces. won the race.
moonshine is best ;D puts out a very nice blue flame

Who is the smell for?
Ever been in the infield on a racetrack? It's for the pit crew.

Ooooh! Iv'e always wanted to race a lawn mower!
-
I saw it once saying it was designed for dirt bike and atv riders. Being behind someone on trails or tracks for a few hours you tend to smell like exhaust afterwards. I guess it's something that some people just might think is cool for their cars.
