Title: Display snaps in MameWah?
Post by: Timstuff on April 13, 2005, 06:18:44 pm
In MameWah, is there any way to set it up so that it will display a screenshot of the  game that you have selected, like in Mame 32? Thanks. :)

Yes. It is very basic and very well explained in the Mamewah documentation.

Does anyone know of a good place to get the screenshots from? Mame32's website has them, but you have to download them in archives from Fileplanet, and there's no-way to know which ones you'll get, and if I downloaded all of them I'd probably have a filled up hard dirve (and I don't think I need a screenshot from "sexy mahjong" on a computer that my family uses).

I think I stumbled on a websit with a good selection of screens, but I don't remember where it was. Anyone have any reccomendations?

Use the search function on this site.  Very useful.  Stuzza has a screenshot web site.

Most of the links that the search turned up were dead, but I realised that the site I was at before was actually the official Mame site. They've got a great selection of screens, if anyone's interested. :)

Why does mamedev include those pr0n games and keep adding new ones, who cares about documenting that. They should go document marvel vs capcom 2 cause it looks possible these days. ;D

Yeah, I mean really. How many erotic variations of mahjong could anyone possibly want? Just gimme MVC2 and summadem other good games that they haven't gotten to yet, or better yet try to get Mame's 3D capabilities to work properly (if they can tollerate the thought of using 3D accelleration for it).
