Hey,
I'm designing MameWah layouts for my PC and eventually for a cabinet. I'd like to include on my console emulation pages the original advertising slogans for the systems.
Here's the ones I've found so far:
Atari 2600: "Have you played Atari today?"
Intellivision: "Intelligent Television"
NES: "Now you're playing with power"
But now I've hit a brick wall. Anybody remember any of the ad slogans for Atari 5200, Atari 7800, Colecovision, SNES, Sega Master System, Sega Game Gear or Sega Genesis?
-
Genesis: "You can't do this on Nintendo"
Jaguar: "Do the Math"
Was SNES "Play it loud" or did they start that when Sega started screaming at everyone?
-
Who's was "It does what Ninten-don't"? I kinda remember something like that at least.

NES: "Now you're playing with power"
And then the tack-on for the Gameboy:
"Now you're playing with power: Portable power."
"Genesis does what Ninten-don't" has already been noted...
I suppose PSX's old slogan doesn't count as "classic", huh? :) I can't think of any more.

Thanks for the help guys.
I found a couple more.
Sega Master System: "Now, There Are No Limits"
Sega Game Gear: "Separate The Men From The Boys" (I don't remember this one.

I remember the original slogan for the Playstation was: URNOTE (or something like that... basically, "You Are Not Ready").

Any colecovision fans out there?
I loved that system so much!
Wasn't it 'Bring The Arcade Experience Home' or something of that nature?
-
Loved coleco. I even play the emulated games every now and then.
I don't remember another cross company adaptor like the coleco/atari either.
-
"Nintendo is what Genesisn't"
;D
Commodore 64: "I adore my 64"
-
Magnavox Odyssey 2 - "The Keyboard is the Key!"
Sega also used "The power will always be there."
Coleco used "The Arcade Quality Video Game System."
Vectrex was "Real Arcade Play at Home."
TG-16 was "The Higher Energy Video Game System."
I love Sony's current... "Live in your world, play in ours."
