Hello,

I know Photoshop pretty well, but I am not that familiar with Illustrator.

use the object menu to resize (transform) your selection.
there's a check bock to scale the lines and effects.

I have gone back and started to "fix" most of my early vector stuff with regards to strokes. (all of my later stuff has the expanded strokes)

"Expanding" the stroke eliminates the problem when resizing manually.

thank's for the tip.

in order to have a proper resize without stroke troubles, I'm always used to trace the outlines as an individual layer. more work, but resizing is always accurate.
