Title: vertical monitor with mame32
Post by: eightbit on October 28, 2002, 11:09:22 pm
How do I get Mame32 to rotate for a vertical monitor? Is it possible? I can set it to rotate the games but how do I rotate the menu?

I don't think Mame32 has that option. You can use a different software to rotate anythin gin windows.. Goto Portrait.com I think that was it iwas.

$50 is a little steep. Theres got to be a way to rotate mame. It just seems like there should be a check box somewhere to rotate the menu just like there is to rotate the games.

Try Emulaoder for your FE. I don't think MAME32 (GUI Version) don't have this option. A lot FE out there supports rotating your MENU.

If you have an ATI Radeon, support for vertical monitors comes for free if you use the Radeon 7200 driver, plus you also get TV-out. I'm using an ATI Radeon with Win95 and can rotate Windows with the click of a button in the driver. Easy and painless.

I have a 32mb ddr raadeon all in wonder. I'll have to check it for that option. Hopefully it can do it.

Just install the ATI Control Panel version 6.13.10.3027.  The option will appear in the advanced options under the display settings applet.
