My built-in video card apparently doesn't support hardware stretching (some games will not run full screen and when I try to select hardware stretch in Mame32 as a test, the option is grayed-out).
I want to install a new card that will support hardware stretching and maybe rotation. It needs to be a PCI card. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

I'm pretty sure the eVGA nVIDIA GeForce MX4000 (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=14-130-217&depa=1) fits that bill.

mame was developed using ATI drivers and the machines i've built.. i've had great success with a ATI 3D Rage II+ card. they'll even power run an arcade monitor.
and for the price, even at buy it now... you cant go wrong.

I don't think they support hardware rotation, though.
