Title: dowloadable x arcade ini files for mamewah???
Post by: thedyingmatt on February 13, 2005, 10:43:45 am
So I finally got the ol' mamewah to recognize the roms list and get roms to show up, but I'm having problems with my x arcade 2 player setup.  Like for instance, in robotron, the left joystick does everything, walk and shoot at the some time and whatnot.

I'm terrible with these ini files and was grateful to come across a website where the gentlemen had his ini files available for d/l.  So I d/l his ini files and that's how I've got it to work so far.  I'm just wondering if there's anywhere out there I could do the same for the controller setup.  Just some site that has the x arcade ini file for mamewah or whatnot.  Thanks.

Matthew

Did you post this at the MW board too?  I think I replied there yesterday...

Basically edit \ctrlr\default.ini and using \docs\ctrlr.txt as reference remap the navigation keys from cursors to number pad keys.

No this is the only place i've posted it.

For the time being I've decided to go with Ultrastyle because it was easy to setup and I like the design.

Once I get this ini file crap I'lll try out mamewah.

Did you ever get my email minwah about the older version of mamewah (i think .67) that works with the mamewahsetup program???

Yep you should have a reply.  Also check out Screaming's MAMEWAH Config from my links page if you want an easier way to edit the ini's ;)
