Title: booting into mamewah win98
Post by: langdoguk on February 09, 2005, 08:33:59 am
is there a totally idiot proof (I mean as easy as it gets ) way for me to get my system to boot straight into mamewah , using win 98 ,I've more chance of winning the lottery than understanding most of the stuff that seem pretty easy.    thanks Craig

Aboyt 10 posts down.

Just realized your on Win 98, that makes it even easier. In your system.ini file I belive, change the line that reads "SHELL=explorer.exe" to your mamewah  executable. That'll do the trick

Hi,

I suppose you can put it in the Startup menu of win98.

right click on windows Start menu, choose "explore" , and copy and paste a shortcut to Startyp folder.

an other solution would be to modify the "run" key in the registry. but i think the first solution is easier.

Cheers,
