Hey everyone. I am having two small issues on my mame cabinet that I need to resolved quickly... I was wondering if someone could help me out real quick. Usually I am a firm believer in using the faq and searching for my own answers, but I am in a rush with a super bowl party coming up :)
1. My control panel has 6 buttons on each player. Player one works fine with default mame configuration, but player two which is connected to the player two setup on the ipaq is not using the default buttons for P2B5 and P2B6. I have them wired to the right spot, and I opened notepad and tested the buttons, they work. How do I change the default mame configuration to use those two bottons (say j and i, buit I don't recall what they were) as Player Two Button 5 and 6?
2. Some of my older games, like Journey, are having a problem where the game is bigger then my TV screen. If I move my trackball around the screen, the screen will shift to show where the pointer is. It is really weird. It used to play all in one picture... but now is too big! Is there a setting I need to setup?
Thanks
Anthony

Maybe some of the default settings have been changed. My kids have done it before by mistake. Use tab to look at default game settings to make sure the buttons are still setup correctly.
The screen problem could be a Windows video driver setting to allow screen panning or maybe it is panning due to the screen resolution set in Mame.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but MAME doesn't set controls for P2 B5-6 by default, right? I think you'll need to go into the tab menu, find those buttons, and program them...
