Fill out the following and return to your friendly neighbourhood geek:

1) Distribution used?

2) Kernel used?

3) Graphics Library used (SVGALib/FrameBuffer/SDL)?

4) Version of AdvanceMame being compiled?

5) Version of diff files being used?

6) Exact error message at time of compile error (might need to scroll up a few lines from the last error code to find it)?

7) Does it compile cleanly without the diff files being patched in?

umm let me see

i used advancemame .90 diff files....
mame .90 source files

im on windows xp and am using msys which is a windows/dos based compiling shell...with gcc 3.2.2

umm svgalib i believe

i get this error
obj/mame/windows/blend/advance/dos/file.o
gcc.exe: no input files
make: *** [obj/mame/windows/blend/advance/dos/file.o] Error 1

no it dosent compile correctly...here is the error i get with a normal source from mame.net
Compiling src/version.c...
gcc.exe: no input files
make: *** [obj/mame/version.o] Error 1

again im not a compiler so i dont know what im doing wrong so please help if you can thanx :)
