Title: Wells Gardner U3100 Monitor / Software questions
Post by: liche on October 17, 2002, 09:44:32 am
Hello.
I am just getting started with building my own arcade cabinet, and although I am an electric engineer, I am pretty lacking in the software department.

My set-up is going to be using a WG U3100 VGA monitor hooked up to my computer (Pentium III)

I just had a few questions regarding this monitor:

1.  I'm using ARCADEOS and using an AGP ATI Rage video card.  I realize ARCADEOS requires specific cards for the use with "true" arcade monitors, but when using a VGA arcade monitor, do I require a video card specific to this list (list as found on PCJAmma website for ARCADEOS)???

2.  Also, is there anything special i need to do software wise to use this monitor correctly with ARCADEOS and ADVMame???

3.  Any other tips regarding the use of this monitor???

Thanks for any help you can provide!!!!

Liche
