It doesn't look like Mame 0.55 supports game specific ini files. If this is correct, is there any way to use the AVGA res tool with Mame 0.55?
TIA,
Jim

I'm sure game-specific ini's have been possible since before .55, what makes you think they aren't?

There's no ini directory underneath the mame directory. There's no option in the mame.ini file to specify an ini directory. When I tried dropping my 0.88 ini directory under my Mame 0.55 directory it wasn't used.

You might be right. I was using MAME back then but to be honest I don't ever remember the ini folder not being there...maybe I just didn't use it back then as I do now.
Just checking, are you sure you don't have the DOS version?

I doubled checked, I am using the Windows version.
