I took a look at Airbus' webiste and there was a little banner saying "Win an A380"!
With aspirations of starting up my own low cost trans-atlantic airline (AirMonkey) I clicked on the banner and filled out the competition entry. Then I read the fine print; they're only giving away a "large scale model" of the A380  :'(
The cheap ---daisies---!
My dreams have once again fallen into the gutter...

That must be false advertising or something. Surely I could take them to court and get a free plane out of them, even a nice A330 would do- it would make my morning commute so much easier!

The manufacturers, however, are alive and well due to subsidization by governments
