Does anyone else have this problem? I have to blast my speakers to obtain decent level of bone breakage.

You can adjust he default ingame volume throught the settings menu. Hit F2 and choose adjust volume.
-
As far as I am aware it is a problem for everyone because it is an emulation problem not a "settings" problem. I have the same problem.

The volume settings are low on everyones version until you change the volume settings. By hitting "F2".
My MK 3 sounds great now!

word, i could barely hear most of my midway fighters (wrestlemania, mortal kombat, even games like nba hangtime) just hit F2, go to adjust game volume, move it all the way up, and then its all good baby babah, uh.

You're right in that it isn't a *MAME* settings issue. But it is a setting in the game itself. The others are correct that you can adjust it by hitting F2 and changing the volume setting in the game.

Changing it through F2 worked great! Thanks!

The F2 settings on Midway games are awesome. I love setting up my own custom messages in NBA Jam!

Anyone know a way to save these settings so they only have to be done once per game?
-
I'm a little confused about how this works. It seems to save sometimes, but not other times. When I first start the game, the volume will be low, but then when I hit F2 to get into the menu, the volume starts blasting at the MAX volume, which I had set on a previous load. It's like it doesn't load my settings until I simply go into the F2 menu. What gives?
