Title: Wells Gardnder K7193
Post by: GuinnessGuy74 on January 07, 2005, 11:49:32 am
Anyone have a manual, or know the pinouts for this monitor? I am pretty sure the first 3 are RGB and then the last few are seperate (for the syncs?), but I am not sure which one is the v-sync.

I appreciate the help, and thanks in advance!

There are two things you need. First you download (free) the standard k7000 series manual at mikesarcade.com then you go to www.jstookey.com/arcade/WG_25k7191/ and download the supplemental schematic for the 7191. Use the k7000 manual and the supplemental 7191 schematic in conjunction with each other.

The 7191, 7193, 7194, 7196, etc are all the same except for minor mounting frame/remote control board variations.

The 7191/7193 uses the standard k7000 series capkit #204 from Zanen Electronics (806-829-2780).

Actually, now I am a bit confused. I looked over the manual and the supplemental schematicas well as this site http://www.jstookey.com/arcade/WG_25k7191/.

Looking at the schematic, it says pin 1 is GND (but not present on most models). Fine. But then it say Pins 2,3,4 are Blue, Green, and Red. Still no problem, thats what I am looking for right?

But in the picutre on the above website, he has Pins 1,2,3 wired as Red, Green, and Blue. This is contrary to the schematic. So which do I believe? I would be more inclined to believe the schematic, but I am sure this guy had his monitor working correctly no?

Any input would be helpful!

the plug (P7) at the  top are not used.  The connection you are interested in is at the far left about halfway down labelled P1 and P2 respectively.

Sorry about that.....thanks again for the help guys!

P1 and P2 are sometimes numbered as one long connector like this:

1 Video red
2 Video green
3 Video blue
4 Common ground (also wired to 8)
5 positive vertical sync
6 positive horiz sync
7 key (no connection, this is the space between the 2 connectors)
8 Common ground
9 negative vertical sync
10 negative horiz sync

The schematic shows the above as seperate connectors P1 and P2.
