A man is being questioned after hoax e-mails were sent telling relatives of people missing following the Asian tsunami that their loved ones had died.

Tragedy brings out the best in people and the current worlds collective donations are evidence for this. It's such a shame it also brings out the scumbags.

You would expect this from kids that cannot fathom the situation but not from a 40 year old man.

During the WTC tragedy when they were still trying to pull survivors from the rubble, a woman suddenly rushed up, saying that her husband had called her from the rubble, and even gave the rescue workers a location to start digging.  They did.  Curiously, the woman was just *gone*.  Turns out that, yes, she way *lying.*

i'm guessing he's not so much a scum-bag, but derranged. it sounds like something a mentally ill person would do. a scum-bag would normally be someone who is in charge of his faculties...

should be drawn and quartered for that kind of crap....disgusting! Im waiting for the reports to start coming in on the jerks that steal from us contributors to the aid efforts. Only a matter of time we hear about them "skimming the til" just wait and see, it happens everytime a big relief effort is put together like this.


And yes. bring back public hangings!!!  :police:
