Dont take offence, but its rather dull!

Compared to some of the homebrew artwork created on here its kinda child like.

How about this one? All home-made graphics ...

I have it in vector format, sorry for the crappy jpg quality

Again not bad, but I have seen some amazing work on here over the past twelve months or so that put basic graphics to shame.

I think it was Frostilicus's Simpsons sideart that took my breath away in terms of homebrew artwork which really shows off what true artists can do in terms of homebrew work.

I wish I knew where a pic of is was to show you all.....perhaps mahuti or Frosty can reply and add it.

I know the artwork made by Frosty. And true, it is far beyond basic. Frostilicus, and many other talented artists on this board, have a high standard of artwork.

However there is a difference between an "Out of order" sign and a full blown marquee and side art.

ps. check the artwork board for some of my full sideart and marquees like this one:

I don't even see the point of an Out of Order sign for home use. If one of my machines were broken, it would dampen my spirits every time I saw the sign on it!

I could've used an out of order sign for my pinball the other day...My daughter had some friends over and just when I went to bed (I work nights so I sleep in afternoon) They powered it up and began to play....didn't want to ruin their fun so it took a while to get the sleep....

perhaps putting a sign up before they got there would've solved the problem :D

I may need it too... As my HD just crashed on my MAME machine.. so I have to rebuild everything tonight before tomorrow's party...

Found it! Frosty's wonderful example of what can be done with time artistic merit and talent!

Yeah, I've done that in the past. Sometimes the bandwidth gets out of control if you don't.
