Title: ARCADE MUSIC BOX v1.10-1.11 released
Post by: Space Fractal on December 10, 2004, 06:58:35 am
I have released a new version of my Jukebox application with was suited for a mamewah based cab with lowres monitor (best for 640x480 or less).

This version maybe the last version on the year, because I have another projects to do (none arcade). But I would still accept new ideas to Fitch in or if there are any problems.

Thanks to all I got emails or PM from, with positive feedback :-)

Here is the changes since v1.09:
- The files would not sort alphabetical order, if you have files on a network drive (like freebsd server) [fixed]
- Use Left or Right (remapable) to scroll a page [added]
- Escapekey (exit) is now configuable [added]
- If you have 5 or more songs in the queue, these can now randomize (free mode) [added]
- Auto shutdown Windows, when the last song is played finished [added]
- The credit counter is now cycling with the "Play Now" line [changed]
- Se Total Time in the queue. This is cycling with the "Play Next" line [added]
- Loading Picture instead of the blank screen [added]

It seen Arcade Music Box can not been worked on a Win 98 (no song files viewed), but only on Win 2000 and Win XP.

There are 2 Win 98 realated crash bugs, wich is now being fixed (one of them are fixed). A new Version 1.11 is now pretty soon.

PS. Sorry for the dobbelt post.

Hey, just got the program up and running and have 1 request. Can you support Windows XP style album images? All it uses are folder.jpg for its pictures. If you could support this it would help out a lot. Great jukebox though, I'm lovin it.

I support folder.* (because it support more picture format in just jpg) as pictures in the next version. I does not use WMA so much, so I didden't know it use that way. If I have misforstod you, you should explain it again.

I still have some problems to get it working on Win 98 (because I doesn't have a Win 98 machine yet, so an another danish user need to test it. I hope to release it Tuesday or weedens day afternoon (in danish time). I going to install a "test" win 98 on mine machine, so I better can test and fix problems on Win 98.

When I got this to work fine on Win 98, I release that.

A another new feature in the coming v1.11 is the "Broadcast Radio mode" to play ASX based radio streams.
