I have had a DC and 2 hacked controllers I got from SNAAAKE over like 6 months ago but I have not hooked it up yet. Im alittle nervous. Heres what I have hooked up now
Ipac for 4 player CP
Optipac for Trackball
What do I need to buy or do to get this thing up and running. Street Fighter 3 is ready to be played and its killing me I cant play it on my Arcade machine.

The Game Consoles FAQ on this site has a lot of info:

As for hooking up along with an IPAC. You should invest in a set of molex connectors. These would go in-between your ipac and control panel (at least for 2 out of your 4 players if you only had 2 hacked dc pads). Then use the same style molex connector to hookup to the hacked pads. You will have to open the panel and swap the connectors to switch between the IPAC and DC. Its the easiest and fastest method.
Oh, one more note, if you only hack 2 players on your 4 player panel with the molex connectors (assuming you are leaving player3-4 hooked to the ipac) you will have to make sure your PC is off before starting the Dreamcast. You do not want to be combining the grounds from both system, or you risk frying one or both system inputs. Probably best to just disconnect the ipac also whenever using the DC.
Hope this makes sense.

Here is the molex connector I use for my hacked DC and PSX pads. Its a 15 pin .093 spacing connector. I bought mine from a local Fry's store for $3.50.

So basicly I get the Connectors and hook them up to my arcade controls inbetween my Ipaq and Controls. Then when I want to play DC I just unhook the Ipac connector and plug in the DC one. Correct.? I will def get ones for my 3-4 players so I can just unhook them instead of turning off my PC or IPAC. I think that would be the best solution.
Ok I got it. Man I dont want to mess with the wiring again. Oh well if it must be done it must be done.
Thanks

Another side note. So you will need 4 of these connectors, one for each of the 4 player controls. Since most control panels chain ground around to all the player controls, you may be tempted to only put ground to one of the player molex connectors. This is acceptable, as multiple DC hacked pads will accept grounds from the other hacked pads. The problem is then you have to remember which of the 4 sets of molex connectors contains the ground connection to the hacked pad that has ground.
I recommend making the connectors standard, where each also contains a connection to ground.
So actually to complete this mod, you will need 6 sets of molex connectors, 4 to hookup the 4 individual players to the ipac, and 2 more for the hacked DC pads.
Another benifit of this mod, is now you can swap in hacked PSX pads using the same connector and be compatible with virtually any other console. ;D

my option is waiting for the psx ipac connertor... i doubt they would be making a dreamcast verison of it...but maybe a psx to dc converntor would do the trick (thats what im doing at least)
if you didnt already own the ipac...im not a fan but will throw it out there... x-arcade diy kit... and have adapter already lined up
good luck

Wow, great advice. I forgot ultimarc is coming out with an ipac-psx adapter. If thats the case then you can get a PSX to Dreamcast converter and be all set!
