I have a cab that I could possibly scan the side art - its missing about 10-20% but it would be obvious as its patterned at the missing point. Furthermore I bought a pal a NOS cpo for his machine, given a few weeks till I meet him again I could scan that too...

I'll add it to the to-do list along with several other parts - just right now its nearly x-mas and I'm preparing cabs for punters so I cant wade all the way in

:)

Ok. I've vectored it, but its not 100% accurate : well - the lines are - its the fills - allot of them (like all the greys on the guns) - should be half-toned dot. In fatc theres quite allot of colour missing thats half-toned on the figure too, but having eperiemented with a few dot patterning swatches I've decided to relase it as-is.

My thoughts are to upload a unclean version of the bottom bit so if some pioneering fella wants to do the half-toning then they have the scan to work from. Good idea?
Heres a snapshot anyhow - I'm still proud of it

It would be funny to have the Rolling Thunder guy looking dubious while the guy from Rough Ranger tries to buy him a drink....LMAO

Seriously though...that is FANTASTIC work!

I've just improved it too here...

Having watched some illustartor tutorials I learnt about  the object -> path -> outline strokes command. I was able to change the 3d lines behind his head from 2pt lines, thus able to use a gradient fill from purple to pink as the original was (as AI doesnt allow gradients on strokes).

Having watched meshes this morning, I could probably improve the purple -> blue behind the other 3d to be more like the original too ;)

I cant seem to replace files via AAL's front-end - Mahuti - gentle reminder that I could perhaps use FTP access  :P

Glad everyone's enjoying my art (or my tracing specifically)
