I'm hoping someone could help me out. My Wells Gardner K7200 monitor has a tilt probably around 5-6 degrees (very annoying). How can I go about adjusting this? Is there any way?

With heavy leather gloves on to insulate yourself from the nearby high voltage, loosen the clamping screw on the yoke and rotate it slightly while the monitor is on. CAUTION: your hands will be very close to the high voltage!

Mine has the same problem and Ken told me the same thing...I havn't gotten around to taking care of it though. Let me know how it works for you, Ifa ll goes well I'll go ahead and give it a shot on mine :)

I appreciate the help Ken. Before I try anything I'd like to be 100% certain I'm doing the right thing. I've taken a picture of my monitor (attached) and it would be of GREAT help if you could label exactly what it is I should be doing. I'm fairly certain I know what to do after searching around the web but would like to be absolutely certain before attempting the adjustments. Thanks!

The black screw is what clamps the yoke.

Hehehe, hope he don't forget the HEAVY WORKING GLOVE or make a bobo or else he can't tell you how it went ::)
Or you may have to wait for the next one :D

Why don't you try it first DaemonCollector and let me know how it goes... :o

My friend had a Neo Geo with a 25K7194 monitor in it and the picture was tilted. Turns out rough handling by the game moving crew had caused the yoke to come loose. All I had to do was loosen the clamping screw slightly and rotate the yoke a couple of degrees. The I retightened the screw.
Warning: don't overtighten that clamping screw. It should only be snug enough to hold the yoke. If you overtighten it you'll crack the neck of the picture tube!

I was planning on working on the cab today, I may go ahead and give it a whirl, I wana try to get it fixed before my brother gets home tommarow. I'll let ya know how it goes

Aight, just rotated the yoke and the monitor has nevr looked better :)
-
Just did mine too. No problems at all. Thanks for the help and advice!

Glad that fixed your monitors. :)
Sure is strange though that current models like the 7200 have tilted yokes. Is someone at the factory aligning them that way or are they not being clamped properly and they work loose?
Or is it that you guys just play too rough with your cabinets? :o

Ken some of these games today are so violent and busy. The characters in the monitor must have jumped and bumped the yoke out of place. Thats why I stick with frogger it is slower and causes less breakage on your monitor!
