i was wondering if someone could make some simple artwork for me to put on the sides of my cab...
i have almost completed my cabinet, and would like to put black and white images of the different systems i have in my cab along with a well known character from each system standing beside it.
system character
nes mario
snes captain falcon
n64 samus
mame metal slug group shot
daphne dragons lair character
sega genesis sonic
not only am i looking for bids for someone to create artwork for me, but also constructive critisism on what i'm doing, aka use a different character....
thanks for your input ahead of time...

Sorry, too much traffic. :(

something like that...except
i was thinking more cartoon like pictures. i guess what i mean by that is less detailed (for the console). also, i'd like to make each one separate, so that i can print each one off as a big sticker and lay them out how i like them. also, i'd like the character pictures to reflect the way they look on the game system. so 2d characters for nes, snes, n64, sgen. and just have the console, no controllers, too much detail. i'll try to find pics of characters in the poses i'd like to see and possibly images of systems.
man, this is hard to describe what i see in my mind...i wish i had some artistic abilities so i could at least make a crappy mock up.
also, have the characters standing behind the systems, because the system is what i really want to see, the characters are just to make it interesting/give examples.

i tried to edit but it wouldn't let me, but i just wanted to say thanks for showing interest in helping me out with my disabilities (creating art).

heres a pic of a mario that would work...i'm having trouble finding the exact samus position i want, and falcon might not be a good character for super...any ideas? also, i'm not sure about a console for mame and daphne...maybe i'll just put the two together...

oh, and just some more clarification on cartoonizing a pic, you've got to exagurate the line thickness, less detail, and the outer line is always extra big. also, i was thinking about incorporating the logo for each system...but i'm not sure about how cluttered this will make it.

Vectorized a small mario like what your talking about. And threw it on a background that im not very proud of but at least you can get an idea

i like the look of the nintendo, almost exactly what is in my head...but maybe add the flip up door on the front for cartridges... :)
i'm still a little stumped on how to do my characters...if i did them all cartoon like your awesome mario, it would all fit alot nicer. but i'd love to have the same look as the console puts out on the screen...
but for ease on the eyes, i'm leaning towards the cartooned characters with the console. also, i'd like to use the real logos straight from the systems. and the characters should just be posing with the console. i'm thinking a layout as follows...
character posing, console at/near feet (covering character feet, legs...since i just want to recognize the character with the console but without console being too out of proportion) , logo under console.
other than that, you guys do great work and quick...and i'm very happy someone is willing to spend time to help.

some have more than just the logo, but those are the best i could find...

Making simple vectors like this are very easy because all you are doing is tracing an existing image. But it is very time consuming. Why dont you just find all the images you want.Get a trial version of illustrator or psp and give it a go.Its a billion times more satisfying knowing its something you made and it going to be how you want it.The hardest part is deciding on a layout for your images that looks good and working with it.But it sound like you know rather well in your mind what you want. Then once youve got the long boring part out of the way i think youll find there are plenty of people that could spice it up so to speak.
