Title: Printing Artwork - Options?
Post by: Crazy Cooter on October 26, 2004, 05:10:09 pm
Could we list the pros/cons of various methods of printing artwork?  I'd like to see what materials people are printing on and how each has been holding up.  Let's cover marquee, control panel, and sideart and make it a FAQ sticky. ;)

home printer?
laminated?
commercial?
paper?
vinyl?

If it's a commercial operation (i.e. mamemarquees.com) please state what material was used for the print.

home printer? bad quality, must attach multi peices of paper
laminated? Laminated is durable. Its good if you wont use plexi
commercial? 1 sheet...high quality.....cost $$$
paper? sometimes bleeds...wont last long and colors wont look so hot
vinyl? good choice. Must be put under plexi or laminated
