Hello, I just received my d9200 monitor. I hooked it straight up to my computer and the Mame games look really good to me. Why are so many people buying the ArcadeVGA to run it? Also, my Act Labs gun runs great... I know that it would make it more authentic, but would I really gain that much that it would be worth the investment with all the issues I see running these two together...
Please educate me!

People use the avga to run arcade perfect (or close to it) resolutions which the d9200 can handle. If you are happy with hardware stretching maybe you shouldn't worry about it. You can also achieve arcade perfect resolutions using advance mame. Remember, there are a ton of people that use the avga without issue. Those people don't post because they don't have problems.

Thanks for the info, the other questions I have about the ArcadeVGA are as follows:
1. Do you hook it up to the VGA port or the other.
2. Did the new version of ArcadeVGA (9200 chipset) fix the hardware acceleration issues when using Daphne.
Thanks for the info,

One more question. since the ArcadeVGA works with the VGA hook up, will my Act Labs gun still work?
Thanks for all the responses,
