I know this question gets asked frequently.
I've seen the Visio templates, but my free trial of Visio has expired.
I've seen Frosty's controls and I've downloaded them in JPEG format and they look great. However, I'd really like to get a high quality realistic color button and other controls in Illustrator format. I was able to trace some of Frosty's controls in AI, but I can't get the gradient mesh right for the buttons.

I've put a small collection of buttons that might do the trick for you in PNG format here (http://perfectidiot.com/buttons/)

Those buttons look great, but I was hoping to get 'em in vector format. I worked some more on my own in Illustrator and they are getting better. Take a look.

I did these up in CorelDraw. I could export them to Illustrator if this is what you're looking for. I think Frosty's look a little better though...
-
Can ya export em to Illustrator for me? Haha, I need some nice lookin vector buttons.

I'm slowly converting Frosty's controls to Illustrator. They won't look as great, but good enough for my purposes. Here's the Tron and a rotary:

Allright, will you jokers quit toying with me here and post these things in .ai format please? During my car ride home this morning, I was designing my new monitor bezel in my head and came to the conclusion that I was gonna hafta design some buttons in Illustrator. Convenient that a couple of you have already done just that. :) Hook me up here.

I got something for you, I drew these by hand in Illustrator for my Bezel Instruction Artwork. Let me know if you want me to send them in .ai format, what version etc.

Hell yes! :)
ALL of you guys who've made vector images and are willing to share them go ahead and post them here (and at the Arcade Art Repsitory (http://www.localarcade.com/arcade_art/index.php).)
To post them here, change the .ai or whatever to .txt and attach it like normal. Just make sure to tell us what the suffix should be changed back to.

I'm new to Illustrator and would like to check out the buttons in .ai format. I am going to be posting all my graphics on my website next week.

Ok here they are. Someone requested Player 1 and 2 start buttons, and a black button, so I added those. I also added the LED lights for the I-pac if anyone finds a use for them. File is saved as .txt so all you need to do is chang the extension back to .eps Right click and save-as here http://www.uslineage.com/misc/Arcade%20Buttons.txt (http://www.uslineage.com/misc/Arcade%20Buttons.txt)

Okay I will admit it I requested the other buttons. They look good and you can't use them without the set! Thanks again for adding them Rahzel. I only just got Adobe Illustrator two days ago so I got a lot to learn.

Thanks Rahzel.
JoyMonkey, rdagger, I'm waiting on you now. :)
-
Rahzel, any chance you can make a Joystick in that same format? Im tryin to make an instruction sheet, and those buttons are beautiful, but a joystick to match would be even better :P
-
Here's a generic yoke. It still needs some work.
I'm going to post everything as soon as I'm done.

I don't think I'm able to do that, with the textures a joystick has and all... The one I use is a generic 2-D style joystick, it still looks alright. I can post that if you want but I'ts probably not what you're looking for.

I think Atari is the only company that made these types of yokes. Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, Turbo Sub, Tomcat, S.T.U.N. Runner, Firefox, Hydra, Road Blasters, Vapor TRX are all Atari.

maybee you could up it to http://www.localarcade.com/4images/ (http://www.localarcade.com/4images/)
there's a section References & Template where I guess it would be fine.
