You know a few years back when they redesigned Mortal Kombat's Shang Tsung character for mkda I was a little suprised. He looked just like me! But I shrugged it off. A few months later when I found out that part of the mkda plot involved an ancient character named "The Dragon King" which was the same name as my then new, direct-X based fe, I shrugged it off as concidence. But now that I've looked closely at the new Mk Dececption website I have no choice to conclude that either:
Someone on the Mk design team is a fan of my work.
Ed Boon and myself are psychically linked.
One of you guys is an evil ninja spy here soley to rob me of my good ideas and sell them to midway.
Don't believe me? Take a look for yourself.
My Dragon King, as grabbed from an old screenshot of Dk. (I didn't draw it... I found an old sketch on the internet and digitally painted and altered it.)
Even though the deisgn is different, notice the posture of the characters and the skin layout vs their site layout are nearly identical.
Ok so fess up. Which one of you jerks is the evil ninja spy?

just stop listening to the little man on your shoulder and you'll be fine--mine used to tell me all sorts of weird things, then it occurred to me that since I don't normally make really great decisions, what makes me think that a figment of my imagination (i.e. psychosis) would be any better at it?
seriously though--I didn't see even the remotest connection there...

Guys instead of just clicking on the first link why don't you try navigating through the site? Click on any of the links and you'll find that their dragon king has large wings hanging over the rest of the site just like mine.
Btw this thread has truth in it but it was meant as a joke... way to not get it guys.

Semi-off topic, but I really think that the Dragon King (He's in one of the character bio videos over at IGN) looks a lot like Liu Kang's "Dragon" animality from Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, curse blighted piece of cinema it may be.

Yea, the first one was actually pretty good. Shame they had to go and muck it up for the sequel. Oh well...

Umm... So the fact that the dragon on your site and the thing on that site both have wings and are facing us means you are psychically connected to the co-creator of Mortal Kombat?
