Title: SRMP7 Problems.
Post by: Witchboard on September 13, 2004, 12:05:30 am
Before anybody calls me a dirty old man, I already know that.  Why else would you learn to play Mahjongg?  8)

Anyway.  I can't seem to get it running.  When I execute it I get no ROM errors, but MAME tells me that there's a problem with the sound emulation.  After I type OK the game exits with a "abnormal program termination."  Can anybody else verify this problem?  I'm using .84 command line MAME.

Uh.. bump?

All I want is verification that somebody else gets the same error.  Is there nobody else here that plays Mahjongg?

It probably is bad emulation.  Check to see if it is working status in the gamelist.txt file.

Thanks for the tip.  I didn't know I could do that.  I guess that shows how ignorant I am when it comes to MAME.

It says it should be working with partail sound and no screen flip.  I've already tested the zip file to make sure it wasn't corrupted.
