My eyes are bloodshot red from trying to update!! Please help... I'm using Arcadeos 2.51 and advancemame 0.86. I cannot get the game list to come up. I get the arcadeos main screen to come up but it will not generate the game list. My mame folder contains advancemame, roms + samples etc... I have my arcadeos.cfg file pointing to c:\mame as the main directory. Exe is advmame.exe, info file is advmame.exe and config file is advmame.rc. Legacy is = 0. My advancemame.rc file is correct as well. I have my roms set at dir_rom roms and dir_sample samples. My folders are respectively named roms and samples in my mame directory. Question is... Why am I not getting the new list to come up? I know from advancemame 0.84 and up there is the new xml2info.exe file which generates the list. Am I supposed to generate this list manually? If so, how do I do it? Should advancemame generate this list manually? Please help... I can't figure out why this is not coming up.... E-mail me directly at grus_jc@yahoo.com thanks..
