GenerousBen, could you please post your settings/setup that you are using to get Windows on your arcade monitor? I like several others are very interested in finding this out so hopefully we too can finally experience what you have.
Also, are you using a front end or are you booting just straight into Windows and selecting your emulator from there?
Thanks!

I'm also very interested. I've been looking for ages for info on getting Windoze to work.
Maybe a bunch of us who are interested in this could work on getting it to work.

Hey Snaaake... on the painted plywood. I am not a fan of plywood so this reply might be a bit tanted. If you can use MDF. It's much easier to work with and since its smooth will accept paint a lot better, just seal it with something like Kilz and paint it. If you need an example of painted plywood the best example I can think of would be the underhang of the roof of a house. That is basically plywood.

Guy's I've got this to work well have a look at the "Only MAME on an arcade monitor" post. I will help if I can - I had to mess around alot to get it to work , but I got it!!!!

Hey Slice,
I've been looking at the "Mame Only" thread, and didn't see to much info on how to acutally get it going. Maybe we could start a new thread called "The Windows on Arcade Montiors Project". I think if we all step up and work on this we should have no problem getting this going. If you post saying that you have gotten this to work, then please post all the info you have.

Hi
I am currently travelling around southeast asia for 3 months so that is why i havent replyed to this post any sooner internet access is very slow here and it is not really worth using as i move about every few days .
I have just had alook at slices powerstrip modelines,
640x 480 ,19khz x 36hz. i cant really check this on our set up untill i get back.
I run about 14/15 khz by 50/60 hz
witch is about right for a standard res arcade monitor
some people might find slices modelines dont work with there arcade monitors as they are outside a 15.7khz monitors recomended refresh rate.
j.pac users might also find they dont work but again i cant check this
I cant see any anyone getting 640x 480 at 60hz,on an arcade monitor without using a scanconverter I dont think that is technically possible.

Hi Ben , you're dead right - I had to adjust my settings when I hooked up my J-pac, anyway what do you think of the "Windows on an Arcade monitor" Thread?
