I would love some feedback for the CPO of my soon to be Q*bert Arcade.
Thanks,

Thanks brother! That font is called "Porky's" It's the same as the font used for the title of the movie.
Any other opinions?

Thank you. The Cab is just going to be standard Q*Bert. I bought the machine in cherry condition and I don't want to butcher it. I want to be able to convert the machine back and forth anytime I want in a matter of minutes.
I am swaping out the control panel and using the original monitor for Mame. It will be running an AMD 2500XP,256mb,ArcadeVGA,Breakout cable,T-Stik Plus, and Ipac.
I am going to use the Ultrastyle front end.
Keep the input coming people!

looks good to me ;D

I like it , very cool.
It looks like you have a setup for an 8-way joystick
I would think on a Qbert themed cab you would want a dedicated 4-way set on a diaganal. Seems there is room for both.

looks good!! Qbert was one of my favourites.

I'm using a T-Stik plus. 8-way/4-way switchable. You can configure Q*Bert easily in Mame to accept only diaganol inputs.
If you look at my control panel back to back, you can see how I tweaked it.

Yes, I can see why you would want to keep it like that. What do you think about keeping some of the characters under the buttons? Looks like there may be room.

Yeah, I have been going back and forth on that. I was going to use just Q*Bert characters, then I was going to use a bunch of classic characters. It seems to look cluttered with a bunch of different characters. I guess I'll never be fully satisfied.
Oh well.

Looks great!
How come you have three buttons on the right and the text says Jump/Fire?
Should their be a label for the third button?

I figure Jump/Fire is just a generic term describing what the buttons do. In most, if not all vertical games jump and fire covers pretty much every action possible.
On another note. Do you guys think Mamemarquees.com is the best choice for printing this up?

Looks good, but here is what I would do:
1. Put something near the buttons. At least a pic of q-bert.
2. Shrink down the arrows around the joystick. Use 4 big ones and 4 smaller ones. Right now, it's to overwhelming.
Other than that it looks good!
