Title: Political, but non-partisan and friendly
Post by: shmokes on August 24, 2004, 12:11:23 pm
I think I posted this link about a year ago, but there are new faces and it's especially relavent now with people so fired up about politics.  It's a short test that takes about five minutes and just asks whether you agree or disagree with certain statements.  Afterward it will plot you on a graph, not only showing you how conservative or liberal you are, but it separates those distinctions in to social issues and economic issues, so you can might see that you are socially liberal, but conservative economically, etc.

Also it shows how you compare with current and historic politicians.  Pretty cool.

Click the link, then click "Take the test" on the left-hand side.

Feel free to post your results (you'll get a social and an economic "score").

I guess I'm what you might describe as "flaming".  How can I be so far on the fringe in extremist territory?  I'm so rational.  :P

Economic Left/Right: -6.12
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.05

Sheesh, Floyd.  I had no idea you were so liberal.  I hope you're voting in the next election  ;D

I tried taking it, them my heart started bleeding, which caused me to spill my latte all over my russian flag t-shirt, so I then went outside and hugged a tree.

after reading this, I went out to buy a heart to see what it would feel like after having it installed.  On the way to the heart store in my gas-guzzling SUV, I ran over a kitty...I had to back up to verify it before driving over it again...when I got to the heart store, they told me they don't sell to "my type".  After wrapping myself in the American Flag (it was chilly), I took my automatic assault rifle and opened fire on the heart store window, eliminating the final living example of an endangered heart-store-window slug.

All that could be heard from the open window of my SUV was my laugh...some remarked that it sounded cruel...meh...what did that poor slob know...public schooling, after all.

Now I feel better  ;D 8)

I am apparently Gandhi.

Should I be insulted that liberal values are considered "negative"?   :D

Are you sure you don't have him confused with our last president?

BTW, I was wondering what happened to my cat and why he was walking funny last week.  Thanks for clearing that up, but since you made the trip across the pond for your big "date", why didn't you at least say hello while you were here?  I'm starting to think you're not as nice as you make yourself out to be.   ;D

p.s. Move to Cuba (wanted to "mix it up" a little)  ;)
