Title: Help mounting the D9200
Post by: electricd on August 13, 2004, 09:11:33 am
Ok I started mounting my D9200 last night.  I got the bottom row of 3 bolts (across the bottom mounting bracket) through a 2x4 and secure.  The problem is that on the top, its like the monitor is leaning back too much.  Is it possibly to pull agains the bottom bracket and get the angle right before mounting the top bracket in?  Its almost like I need to bend the bottom bracket so that the angle is correct.  Thanks.

not sure what you mean, how bout a pic?
you will not be able to bend the bracket, it is very heavy guage steel.

Nevermind....i am not bright!  Without any support at the top of the monitor, it was just leaning back so far that the angle was off.  Once I removed the screws in the back, it was easily flexible to the correct angle, now I just need to mount the top rail!  Speaking of which, does anyone have any good ideas as to how to mount the top and bottom rails?  I want to just bolt them to a 2x4, but in order to do this on the bottom, I had to notch the 2x4 to make room for the 2 support rails which hold the control boards.  My jigsaw can't handle notching another 2x4 for the top.  What is everyone else doing??
