Post by: PiNPOiNT on July 29, 2004, 03:27:29 pm
Does anyone have the link to the modified version of snes9x that has the esc key remaped to exit the game instead of just bring up the menu?

Sorry, don't have a modified version of Snes9x.  The only one available is FCEUltra.  VirtuaNES can also be modified somehow, but no one has sent me that?  If someone has any modified versions of either Snes9x or VirtuaNES, then feel free to get in touch and I'll put them up at the Screenshotarchive.  ;D

I believe that snes9x is a super nintendo emulator and for super nintendo the screenshot archive has a modifed zSnes.

Stuzza - for virtuaNes you can edit a config file to get the escape key to exit for the windows version.

Open virtuanes.ini and change this line:

to this:

Doh!  You are right, I wasn't thinking too hard.  :P  Yes, for SNES, you're best bet is to use Zsnesw which is located at my site. Thanks for that TalkingOctopus, and thanks for the VirtuaNES tip - I think I'll modify it and perhaps add it to the site with the others.  Or at least add the modifed line there for future reference.
