Title: Cheap place to get large artwork printed?

I just checked with a local printing store in my area that can print a photoshop file onto large scale paper, (i require 51"x19" for my control panel) and he quoted me $200 CDN !!!!

anyone know somewhere where i can get something this large printed cheaper?

i was thinking it was only going to cost me around 60 CDN, 200 is way to much for me.

I can't really help, but a print like that (6.73 square feet) would cost US$47 at my local print supplier in Boston.  They charge $7 per sq.ft. for prints on adhesive backed 3M vinyl.

Try going to a blueprint shop, rather than a print store. They are usually higher quality and cheaper.

You could also try Classic Arcade Grafix (http://www.classicarcadegrafix.com/) or MameMarquees (http://www.mamemarquees.com/). I'm not sure about their maximum sizes, but mamemarquees prints a custom control panel sized 21x48" for $69.95 (US)
