I'm setting up my SlikStik arcade cabinet and am wondering if anyone has enabled a TV tuner in their cabinet. I know this is probably sacrilege for devote gamers but, in the same vein that some enable jukeboxes in their cabinets, the wife would like to also enable a TV tuner for when we play pool or darts. We have a projector in the same room but that isn't great for lighted situations.
Anyway, since the SlikStik cabinet is tailored for the fairly well regarded WG 9200 monitor that is my intended purchase. I also intend on trying the ArcadeVGA card after the glowing reviews on Retroblast and this site.
My question is, has anyone enabled a TV tuner, such as the ATI TV Wonder, in this somewhat classic setup (ArcadeVGA/WG 9200)? My thought is to have a PC program option in Mamewah that would trigger dScaler to start the tuner. I

So am I the only one who would adulterate their cabinet by trying to add a TV tuner ???

If you run it in 640 x 480 maybe even 800 x 600 then it would be find. But anything else would smack the monitor outawhack for good.
