Title: need help with advancemame

Why is it that i can play some games with mame32 and not advancemame. is it cause the resolution isnt setup? like it will tell me that i dont have the roms when in fact if i goto mame32 it will playu them no problem???wtf

deafult folder for MAME, MAME32 and others are named ROMS, in advmame it is default to ROM. So you need to edit advmame.rc and make it ROMS.

acually my default folder is rom cause ui can plaY some games but niot ithers...weird though is i can play the games that dont work in advmame in mame32

Yeah I got a similar problem. AdvanceMame seems to be really picky about the roms.... or something

OK Found what my problem was, I was trying to us a differnt roms directory and fool Advancemame into thinking it was the same ROM folder. I had got this working before, but not with advanceMame... and it didnt seem to like it....

So make sure all your ROMS are in the ROM folder in advancemame
