Title: Not quite a MAME cabinet...
Post by: bishmasterb on June 02, 2004, 10:59:11 pm
My wife, who is really into quilting, made a huge Mario quilt that hangs in our gameroom. There's more info at http://www.bishopzone.com/bishopzone/projects/mario.html (http://www.bishopzone.com/bishopzone/projects/mario.html).

cool--I imagine it was quite hard to keep him looking 8-bit on a 6x6 quilt (or whatever size it is)--tell her "some guy on the board says nice work!"  I'm sure that will mean alot to her ;D

My wife bought me a stuffed Luigi from a garage sale for my game room.  Now on the look out for a mario as well.  Have to have both brothers.

Your wife does great work.  Thanks for sharing.

Here's another one.  Very cool also....I was actually looking for the one on the board, but did a google search first.  Found this one.  :)

Yeah, the "anti-aliasing" effectively doubled the number of colors in the palette, but I think it was necessary. It's when I started talking about lighting effects that my wife got really confused. :)
