Title: rotary joystick/interface use...
Post by: alphasqorner on June 02, 2004, 01:18:18 am
I bought Druin's rotary interface and have NOS ls30 rotary joysticks and hooked it all up to an ipac2.   Now, my question/problem is:  I'm using Mame32 to play my roms but I can't seem to get the right analog settings so that the twists don't miss or over turn in a game.  Like for example, in ikari warriors, when I twist the joystick one click, sometimes the character doesnt turn at all or it over turns my character making a 90 degree turn instead of a 45 degree turn.  Am I making any sense here?  Anyone know any settings to do?

I don't know if it is analog mame but some version of mame fixes this.
