Very cool.  That's an interesting button config.  Why do the buttons and ball-tops look metallic red?  Is it just the pic or is that what it is?  Either way, smooth cab.  Congrats on the completion.

Edit: Ah.. they are red.  It was just the pic.  Sorry, replied before you had finished posting.  ;D

Cant see them due to my crappy sub mega pixed cam but there are 2 black buttons on the front CP plate for coins and 4 function buttons on the front bezel plate for escape, pause, enter and volume.

Front is Mamewah
J Stiks
Happs Buttons
Ipac
19" WG 3100
tornado spinner

its a fully one button powerup to menu, power down via a happs button hidden on the left top and a bits smart strip. wireless key and mouse are stashed up top if needed. twin mondo fans from crapio shack in the bottom and top back panels cool the beast.

Magnet,
for the most part i only play classics, most of which require only 2 buttons. Alot of those games that require more than one use the 3rd  (or 4th) as a special button, say like smart bomb or whatever.  I wanted a button off to the side a touch on each player control for that. In practice it works really well.  makes a nice place for a reverse button in defender, a smart bomb button in tempest, so on. any button that deserves a special spot on the panel due to its function.  plus i thought it looked cool. and my pinky told me to put it there.

I really like the shape.  Is it your own design?

BTW the button config would work just fine for me.  I only play the classics as well.

Thanks Santoro. It's 100% scratch built, my design. I'm very happy some folks dig a non-gigantis cp design.

Very slick.  I love the whole theme, very roboton-esque, retro and unique all rolled into one!  Put some cigarette burns on the buttons and I'd swear it was a production model.  Even the sideart is cool.

I tend to agree with you about the button layout.  If it were up to me I'd do a panel with 4 buttons per person, but I've discovered over time that you'll inevitably get someone over who is blown away by the magnificence of your creation, then get bitchy cuz they can't play some generic Capcom fighter.... so it's easier to put the damn extra buttons in :)

Excellent work.
