Title: I put my nose to the grindstone and started my project
Post by: jlampc on May 10, 2004, 02:55:34 am
I got a nice sunburn in southern california but my control panel is 85 percent done. I need to wire it and connect the Ipac. IT's not fancy but I'm just glad I could build it at all...
Here are some pictures...and that goofy guy is me.

Sorry my ignorance but, isn't a little big the monitor you choose to play your favourite games? Is it a low-res i suppose?

Your cab looks nice but i think your gonna miss the "standard" 8 way joystick there...  :)

Yeah its low res....It started out as a vitual on cabinet with two of the joysticks shown on the CP. I did not want to waste the joysticks and I also wanted a control for tron...My next cabinet will be built from the ground up with regular 4/8 ways...I plan to have 2 joysticks with 7 buttons, 1 joystick(4-way) with 3 buttons. 1 spinner 1 trackball. and 2 sets of track and field buttons...( i love hypersports) This was just a conversion of an existing machine...
I wanted to put a standard 8 way on this panel but there was no room. :-[

and finally yes ...the screen is a big 29 inches
