Rather than dig the old 8liners thread up from the dead, I just saw a post in RGVAC that had links to pictures of the 25" version of the chassis. It appears somehwat different from the 13/19" version.
First the boards are grey rather than putty colored
Second, it has a remote adjustment for all the geometry controls
Third, and most important, it has a PINCUSHION control next to the flyback!!!!!!
Here is the original post, and links to pictures of the thing. Does anyone know if any progress was made retrofitting a pincushion control on the 19" version (someone on RGVAC requested schematics on it I know), or has anyone else here (Ken???) used the 25" version and can confirm pincushion control???
If you all recall I did a number of tube swaps into the 19" version and all had pincushion issues one way or another, some minor (not noticable to anyone other than a techie), some major (unusable). My results were posted here: http://www.oscarcontrols.com/chassis

If anyone has ever been curious about this, here's the latest 25 inch monitor I
built with the chassis from Vic at Genao.com. I used a tube from a broken 25
inch Sanyo Television and a Wells Gardner K7000 frame. It turned out
beautifully. Here's some pictures:

The only one I used was a 19" chassis for a Nintendo Sharp monitor. I haven't tried the 25" chassis yet.
I was never able to get schematics for the 19" version to see about a pincushion control.

I know someone posted to the RGVAC thread around November saying that Victor sent them the schems for it. Perhaps you can google groups and find them and if you have time (as you definitely have the smarts :) ) could see if it could be added easily to the 19".
The 25 board impressed me.. as many controls as one of my advanced hantarex's, and then some. Wonder if he's got new ones or if the 25 was always like this... Humm... worth $100 to try??? I have a 25" spare tube from a dead 1992 magnavox TV (vertical collapse) that wasn't worth fixing... But I dont have a cab (or open frame) for the tube :(

I do have to agree that from the pictures that were posted of the 25" chassis, it is a great looking unit.

Can anyone confirm this yet about the 25" chassis having pincushion controls? I've heard a lot of people saying there are controls for it only on the 25" but not the 13/19" which is fine by me. I talked with Victor and he didn't give me a clear answer on this, the only solution he had for me buying one was to use magnets to correct the pincushion. :-\
