Help.
I finally started assembling the monitor/ computer side of my Cabinet, and I'm having a little problem Dialing in the monitor. My system is a Virtual-on Sitdown Cabinet with a 29 inch Nanao Monitor. The monitor has been switched to 15Khz for Mame use. I'm using the Arcade Vga Card from Ultimarc with Their breakout cable patched to the monitor's signal inputs. I am pretty sure I got that right. My image is controllable from the Breakout box connected to the monitor. The breakout box is infront. It houses Vertical and Horizontal settings and Brightness and signal gain for the RGB. My Problem is this. I cannot reliably set the picture. I think its set right and a minute later its rolling slowly. The horizontal has no problem with being setup. Could the Problem be on the Breakout box??? I was just glad to see it work..Now I want it to be usable.
Thanx ???

This board is helpful even when I don't get a response. I went hunting through old postings and tried some things other have. It seems that even though the monitor has a both a vert and horiz sync input on the cable you should only use the H sync. I attached the h and v sync wire from the videocard and connected them to the monitor's H sync.
Bingo the screen and the controls worked and synced with no problem....
I hope to be able to show some pictures soon.

Yes, some monitors only like sync certain ways.

I'm having the same problem only my monitor has a composite sync. I dunno what to do..... :'(

I had the same problems using g07 monitors, just follow these directions to get separate syncs and feed them to the monitor.
(Also needed if you want to use a lightgun)
