Title: Anyone ever built a untility for config.ini files?
Post by: Lilwolf on April 14, 2004, 07:58:28 am
Anyone ever create a graphical controller.ini creation tool?

I'm considering changing my frontend to stop copying the default.ini and start using control.ini files... but only if I can configure them somewhat easily.

Any clue?

It's not particularly hard, I have a skeleton in the works from my research in the controls.dat project.  I can already parse them, it would be a simple matter of doing the same thing in reverse to write them.  PM me for info

I've been wondering why this tool hasn't existed for ages...

I think it is because most people know how to use the Tab menu, and the ctrlr documentation can be a little confusing at first.
