Anyone with hires gauntlet sideart / control panel / insert coin graphics? (or vectorized?)
I was considering converting it as a project.

I found the CP here:
http://www.arcadeclassics.info/downloads/gaunt_cp_mosaic.jpg
It's large and on the whole decent quality, but it does need some cleaning up. It's not perfect, but it's by far the best one I've found to date.
If you are going to use it, let me know - no point in both of us vectorising it (and I have no time yet to do it) :)

SWEET! Thanks!
Now to find the other two...
-
whoah! Kick ass!

No problem. Good luck with it, and I'll keep my eye out for the other two.
Mind you, I spent last night designing my CP to use on my Gauntlet cabinet (extra buttons layout and still making it usable), and assuming that I scaled the image even remotely correctly to the actual size - which I am fairly certain that I have - then I'm going to have to wait until I move into a larger house before I make one :P
Hell, it's been years since I've seen a Gauntlet machine, and assuming that my design is to scale, then I've forgotten just how big they are. I know that they aren't small, but the CP is bloody enormous!
Pac-Man cabinet anyone?

Here's a link to the side panel artwork:

I haven't looked at it, but the site claims that it's of reasonable quality, so hopefully it's of some use.

Never mind... got it... can't link directly there.. just went throught the site by hand.
Its a dead link
did you download it yet? Can you email it to me? (drakewoodring@cinci.rr.com)
I would LOVE to get ahold of a decent copy... I've only seen crappy small ones.

its low resolution... Also seems to be modified from the original..
either that... or my wmf viewer sucks. But it looks EXACTLY like the one on the website itself... So I don't know why the size is one meg

The dragon's den team apparently attempted to use "streamline" or some other application to convert images to vector.
Badly.
Not that I blame them, lord knows I've tried myself, but none of the art on that site is of enough quality that I would use in any of my projects
YMMV.
