i'm working on a neo-geo cab, and would like to redo the marquee, bezel and side ... would anyone happen to have the following image in .eps that i could use?

also, any particular red base i should use for the painting? i'm having a difficult matching it.

something satin i hope ... i tried some rustoleum apple red , and it was a little to shiny for my taste.   ;)

I have been trying the appropriate font for the 'SYSTEM' part of the logo, but haven't been able to find it. I saw something similar on someone elses marquee though.

The Neo-Geo text seems to be a standard "Times New Roman Bold" font. You coulde make that yourself with just about any drawing program you can find. Even Word for that matter.

OK, thanks. Had to recreate the S, Y and M (the S and Y didn't work and the M was indeed different), but it was a start. For the Neo Geo bit I used a bold Times New roman and tweaked it a bit here and there to fit better.

Here is what I got (click on image for AI file):

You'll have to fix size and color yourself ...

I too have been trying to find the 'system' font , but am having no luck.

i've even been searching my adobe font folio cd with no luck either.

but this is great .... thank you again.

You're welcome. It's the least I could do for someone who took all those bezel pictures for me  ;D

I'm just not to good at finding fonts so it took me a while. All I have is a fontbook that came with CorelDRAW. Luckily SpamMe knew where to look.  8)

I also have a CorelDRAW file of this if you can't use the AI file.

Have you PMed orntar yet?  He may have the font since your example image is from his cabinet.

Well, not a pm , but I have emailed him and he offered some advice for painting and customizing my own cab.

I never thought about the images/artwork until my cab was finished.

BTW ... This is an old Williams cab, that had been converted to a NeoGeo. Painted ALL black, and just horrible looking.

All I wanted to do was make it look nice again... ::)
