Don't know if folks have seen this yet, but there's a company who's creating a USB base unit with adapter cables to allow classic NES, SNES, Genesis, etc. controllers to be used on your PC for emulators. IT's a bit pricey (IMO), but I guess you have to eb able to make money.

I think that nas been mentioned before - a bit pricey yes but will be interesting to see in real life.
Another alternative is

They convert classic controllers to usb.
I've got them and they work great (though still trying to get atari working right w/ z26 - it works fine w/ other console emulators though).
