Title: Alaskacade ideas

Hey everyone,

I'm trying to create my own Alaska Mame marquee. I'll have a snowy landscape with some igloos, the northern lights in the sky, maybe spelling out "Alaskacade", or "Alaskan Mame". I want to put in all of the snowy or icy video game characters I can think of, too. The only problem is, I can't think of many... And the ones I can think of are all Nintendo guys. Suggestions?

That's a cool pic.

OH, and don't use 'alaskan mame' under any circumstances.

Using the word MAME in a marquee when you only have one cabinet is a bit silly in my opinion ;D

I like your alaskacade or alaskarcade better. I like drawing on the yeti / sasquatch theme.

Ok, what do you think of this for lettering? It'll say Alaskacade on a starry background.

That is some cool lettering. With the starry background I think it will look great. I can't wait to see the finshed product. If I put letters like that my cab down here people would think it was reefercade.

That would look great with a sky background, black starry on top graduated to a dark blue with a mountain silouette on the bottom.  If you could vary the colors in the lettering it will look like northern lights.  Very cool.

On a bad night, that is what they look like, green I mean.  They can surely get more spectaular though.  I watched a lot of green nights in Anchorage.  Don't miss the cold though.

Silver Surfer is on the X-Men fighter.  Rimaruru on Samurai Showdown III+ uses ice as a weapon.  Glacius from Killer Instinct is made of ice.  It's going to be hard to beat Sasquatch, but just thought I'd share some other characters I know are associated with ice.
