Title: Wiring a 29 inch Nanao monitor from a Virtual on game. Help
Post by: jlampc on March 15, 2004, 05:00:31 pm

I just got a virtual on cabinet with a 29 inch Nanao monitor(unknown model- first problem). I spent the whole weekend gutting and disassembling the Cabinet.

My issue is. I know nothing about what wires do what from the monitor.
I would try to find a manual if I ;
A. knew what model it was
B. knew where to order a manual from.
Can anyone tell me where on the back of a nanao arcade monitor I may find the model #

The person who had it before had spliced the wiring into the existing harness. What I am currently left with is a 2 prong powercord. a set of wires that were spliced into the board...(may be RGB inputs) and a strange 2 pronged connector attached to 2 thick blue wires( possible a connector to a power switch for the monitor).  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My final goal is to make a combination sitdown mame standup dreamcast machine with a steering wheel;
Where the chair would be easily removable and replaceable with a pedestal 2 person control panel for a dreamcast. Lots of planning
 :P
